The Wilderness, NYC, was enlisted by McGarry Bowen to create titles for the new International Miracle Whip campaign. Teaming with Henry Lu of Moxie and Stephen Jess from The Whitehouse, the titles serve as a prominent character in the "name of campaign" narrative. The Wilderness executed a hand-painted, stop-motion graphic treatment to round out what agency and client alike have already lauded as a successful Miracle Whip campaign.

Gelya Robb has just been added to The Wilderness family as Executive Producer.

RGA has just finished up an exciting campaign for the Ad Council, called That's Not Cool. It is an awareness campaign about how mobile devices can be vehicles to be disrespectful, controlling and pressuring. The dense campaign, backed by Google and Youtube, comes with a new website as well as spots and billboards. We were invited to make a few of the videos.. Check out the site at www.thatsnotcool.com.

The Wilderness concepted and directed a music video for Boston based band, Passion Pit. The video is for the new single "Sleepyhead€" from the EP "Chunk of Change" released on French Kiss Records.

The Juan Maclean "Happy House"

Executing yet another highly designed, but simple concept with massive effect, The Wilderness directs The Juan Maclean video "Happy House". For this summer's anticipated DFA re-release of the dance-anthem, principal Nancy Whang (also of LCD Soundsystem) and her back-up dancers act as the white canvas for the video. Inspired by patterns of movement, natural yet graphic, hypnotic but crisp, images pulsate in a rhythmic and perfectly chaotic cycle throughout. Choreography, lighting, and wardrobe are structured but with cadence, energy and dimension. Matching the beat and build of the song, the video progresses from a series of close ups and medium shots into climatic wide compositions. Visually stimulating, the video is colorful, sharp and...HAPPY.
